In purchasing Trench Run you buy an account with Transhuman Design which
uniquely identifies you and enables online interactions through the game.
An account is not required for playing the demo offline.

Abuse of the game by hacking, cheating, abusing or impersonating other
players will result in a flag being placed on your account which will
prevent you from playing on official servers and any custom servers that
choose not to let flagged players join. You will not be barred from playing
the game offline or on custom servers that allow flagged players, your
account will not be removed and your purchase will still be recognised.

You may not disassemble, inject code into or otherwise modify the client
or server binary; this is viewed as hacking and will result in your account
being flagged.

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY,
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NONINFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE AUTHORS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM,
DAMAGES OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT OR
OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SOFTWARE OR THE
USE OR OTHER DEALINGS IN THE SOFTWARE.
